Late night/early morning hooning went terribly wrong today. It was still dark and as I took a right turn I could not distinguish where the road ended and the sidewalk began. In my defense it there was a drug store in that corner, and down here they usually modifiy the sidewalks so you can park you car without blocking the road. Unfortunately, they dont paint this ramps or the sidewalk walls. So as I took the corner/merging lane to the right I clipped the sidewalk with my right front tire. At first I thought I dodged a bullet as it did not seem the tire took some damage. But as I continued to drive down the road the wheel started to rapidly deflate. Luckly the tire was the only thing that got damaged last night with a little bit of my ego.

So kind of like this?
Good to know you're ok and the car was too...its a shame the tire wasn't.

That happened to me on the snow once. Some mid-morning hooning on slowly melting snow, hit a patch of ice and went wide, bumping the front into a large metal dumpster. Scratched the front end up a bit, but the damage was mostly cosmetic/replaceable.
